Prym crewel needles No. 5–10 – assorted fine embroidery needles

Prym crewel needles No. 5–10 (art. no. 125543) are embroidery needles for fine work, and you can also use them for sewing. The pack contains 16 needles in sizes 5 to 10, assorted on a card.

The needles are made of hardened steel and taper to a slender point. The comparatively large eye makes threading easier. The surface has an even, pore-free coating, so according to the manufacturer the needle glides easily through the fabric.

Which needle number should you choose?

The higher the number, the finer and shorter the needle. With the assortment from No. 5 to 10 you therefore have several sizes to hand and can match them to your fabric and thread. For closely woven, fine fabrics and thin threads, choose the higher numbers; for coarser fabrics or several strands at once, choose a lower number. The eye must take the thread without friction, but the needle should leave only a small hole in the fabric.
