Prym Color analog tape measure – 150 cm with cm and inch scale
The Prym Color analog tape measure (art. no. 282125) is a 150 cm dressmaker's tape measure for sewing, patchwork and quilting. The yellow front carries a scale in centimetres and inches. You can read both units on the same tape without having to convert. That is handy when you are working from patterns that give measurements in inches.
Both ends have metal tips. They protect the ends of the tape from wear if you use the tape measure often. Made of poly-fibre fabric, the tape is 19 mm wide, narrow enough to measure curves such as the waist, sleeves or collar size.
Measuring accurately
Lay the tape flat and do not let it twist, otherwise you will read the wrong values. When measuring on the body, it sits correctly when it is snug but does not dig in. For patterns in inches, use the inch scale directly; for European measurements, use the centimetre side of the same front. This way you avoid calculation errors when converting.
