Prym Professional Embroidery and Craft Scissors – pointed blades for fine cuts

The Prym Professional embroidery and craft scissors (art. no. 611510) are small scissors for cutting yarn, paper, felt and fine fabric when embroidering and crafting. They are made by KAI for Prym. The stainless steel blades cut precisely right to the tip, and the sharp points can be pushed into the material exactly where you want them.

The blades are joined with a screw and thread, which according to Prym extends their service life. The soft grips are designed for fatigue-free working. At 13 cm long, the scissors are easy to handle and fit into any sewing box. You can also use them for jobs around the home.

What the pointed blade is useful for

When embroidering, you cut threads close to the back of the fabric: the blades cut right to the tip, so you can also reach threads between stitches. You can also use the point to pierce paper, felt or card in a targeted way, for example for cut-outs or small openings. When snipping threads, hold the point flat against the fabric so that you do not cut into the weave.
