Spray Paints for Even Coverage and Creative Effects

Spray paints and coatings can create fast, even color coverage on suitable surfaces. Depending on the product, they can be used for decoration, hobby work, stencil techniques or adding color to objects made from different materials.

Prepare the Surface and Application Carefully

– use only on materials the product is specifically designed for
– clean and, where necessary, prepare or prime the surface
– apply several thin coats rather than one heavy coat
– follow the manufacturer's safety, ventilation and drying instructions

Spray products can differ significantly in opacity, sheen, surface compatibility and formulation. Check the product details and test sensitive materials in an inconspicuous area first.

When spraying, use the recommended working distance and build coverage in several even passes. Applying too much product at once can cause runs or an uneven finish. Follow the individual product guidance for spray distance, processing temperature and flash-off or drying time.
