Prym Chalk Sharpener – Quickly Re-sharpen Tailor's Chalk

With the Prym chalk sharpener (art. no. 611639) you can bring worn tailor's chalk and magic chalk tiles back into shape. The top has V-shaped plastic edges. Move the chalk tile back and forth over them until the edge is thin and straight again. A sharp edge draws finer lines when marking cutting lines, darts and quilting patterns.

The shavings fall into the integrated collecting container, so your workspace and fabric stay clean. The slider on the underside opens the container for emptying. The chalk sharpener is designed for Prym tailor's chalk and magic chalk tiles.

How to sharpen your chalk

Hold the chalk sharpener firmly on the work surface and lay the chalk tile with its blunt edge flat on the V-shaped edges. Move it back and forth with light, even pressure until the edge is thin and straight again. Too much pressure is unnecessary and can make the chalk break. Empty the collecting container using the slider on the underside as soon as dust has built up.
