The Clover finger presser is a small hand tool for pressing and setting seam allowances and folds when sewing, quilting and appliquéing. Its bevelled edge sits comfortably in the hand and is easy to position against the seam.

It is made of urea resin, a hard-wearing, abrasion-resistant material. This helps the tool keep its shape even with frequent use.

Using the finger presser

Lay the seam allowance or fold in place, position the finger presser with its bevelled edge against it and run it along the seam with light pressure. This gives you a crisp edge without reaching for the iron after every seam. It is particularly handy for small patchwork pieces and appliqué, as you can work right at your sewing station.
