Prym point turner and edge shaper – neat corners and edges

The Prym point turner and edge shaper (art. no. 610191) is a plastic tool for shaping turned corners, edges and curves neatly when sewing. The asymmetric point and the rounded, blunt side work corners out without damaging the fabric. The tool has no sharp edges and is 12.5 cm long.

You can also use it to press seams flat without ironing. In crafting, it is suitable for creasing felt, paper or card.

Shaping corners

After turning the work right side out, push the point into the corner from the inside and gently press outwards until the corner is fully shaped. For curves and long edges, run the rounded, blunt side along the seam. This works well on cases and small bags. Do not press with great force, especially on fine fabrics.

Pressing seams and creasing

If ironing is not possible or too fiddly, press seams flat with the edge shaper. For felt, paper and card, crease along the line with light pressure.
