Efco Sock Stop – latex milk that makes socks non-slip

With Efco Sock Stop you can make hand-knitted or shop-bought socks non-slip. You apply the liquid latex milk directly to the sole with the nozzle. Once dry, the dots or lines give grip on smooth floors such as parquet or tiles. The latex milk is solvent-free and suitable for cotton and wool socks.

Sock Stop is available in several colours, so you can choose a coating to match your sock. Choose your colour from the options.

How to make socks non-slip

Draw around the soles of your feet on cardboard and place the cut-outs inside the socks so the paint does not soak through to the other side. Then apply Sock Stop to the outside of the sole, for example as dots, lines or a pattern. For better grip, apply a second or third coat once the previous one has dried. Then leave the socks to dry for about 12 hours. The colour darkens as it dries, so bear this in mind when choosing a colour. Clean your tools with water after use.

Caring for coated socks

Wash the socks on a gentle cycle (e.g. easy care or delicates) at up to 40 °C. Do not tumble dry.
