Efco Decoupaste fein – white texture paste for snow and reliefs

Efco Decoupaste fein is a white, water-based texture paste for creating snowy areas, fine reliefs and raised accents. The paste is slightly grainy (medium-fine) and is suitable for mixed media, acrylic painting and craft projects on surfaces such as glass, wood, ceramic, stone, plastic, polystyrene and cardboard.

You can use it neat or mix it with acrylic paints. It dries to a matt finish, stays workable while it dries and is waterproof once dry. After that it can be painted over or decorated further. Choose the size from the options.

Working with the paste

Apply the paste to a clean, dry surface with a palette knife, spatula or brush. For snow, dab it on irregularly and pull up small peaks with the palette knife. For reliefs, you can spread it through a stencil. While the paste is wet, you can still reshape it. Before it dries, simply wash tools and leftovers out with water.

• Apply thick layers in several thin coats instead, letting each one dry through, so that the paste does not crack
• To colour it, mix in acrylic paint before applying
• Paint with acrylic paint once completely dry
• Use only at 10 °C or above; store frost-free

Fine or coarse?

The fine paste is intended for subtle textures. For distinctly coarser surfaces, Efco also offers a coarse decoupage paste.
