Efco Curved Tweezer Scissors – fine cutting and unpicking seams

The curved tweezer scissors from Efco are 12 cm long and made for fine cutting in sewing, crafting and needlework. You can cut out delicate motifs and unpick seams cleanly. The tip is curved, and the slim shape lets you work close to the material.

The spring handle opens the scissors by itself after you squeeze them together. You do not have to pull them open and can keep working quickly, cut after cut.

Using the tweezer scissors

To unpick a seam, slide the tip carefully under a stitch and cut the thread. Then pull out the loose thread ends. On fine fabrics, work stitch by stitch so that you do not cut into the fabric. When cutting out delicate motifs, make small cuts and turn the material rather than twisting the scissors sideways.

Curved or straight?

The tweezer scissors are also available with a straight blade. The curved tip of this model is designed for controlled work on seams and small details.
