Paper fasteners 25 mm – for closing bags and movable craft parts

Efco paper fasteners are round metal fasteners, 25 mm long, which you can use to close paper bags and mailing envelopes or to join paper and card parts so that they move. The bag contains 100 fasteners made of sturdy metal with round heads.

The two prongs of each fastener are of different lengths. This makes the shorter prong easier to grip, so the fastener is easier to bend open and to open again. With 100 in the pack, you have a supply for the office, packaging and craft projects.

Closing bags and making movable figures

To close a bag, fold over the edge, push the fastener through all the layers and bend the two prongs outwards against the paper. To open it, lift the prongs again and pull the fastener out.

For movable joints, for example on the arms and legs of paper or card figures, punch a hole in each part at the joint. Then push the fastener through both holes and bend the prongs flat. Do not press them down too tightly, otherwise the joint will jam and will no longer swing.
