Efco Wax Dye Pigment Sticks – Colouring Candle Wax, Pack of 2
With Efco colour pigment sticks you can colour candle wax for home-made poured candles and other wax projects. One pack contains 2 sticks. One stick is enough for approx. 500 g of wax.
The pack is available in several colours. Choose your colour from the options. If you want to mix several shades or colour larger quantities, allow one stick per 500 g of wax.
How to colour wax
Melt the wax in your melting pot and add the pigment stick to the liquid wax. Stir until the colour has dissolved completely. Do not overheat the wax: temperatures that are too high can cause the pigment and wax to separate. Use the mixture at 60–80 °C.
- Allow one stick per 500 g of wax
- For smaller quantities, use a proportionate amount
- Before pouring, do a colour test by placing a drop on white paper and letting it cool
What the sticks are suitable for
The pigments are intended for colouring candle wax. You can use them to colour poured candles and to colour wax for craft projects such as decorative items. When making candles, observe the safety instructions and never leave burning candles unattended.
