Efco Pyramid Candle Mould – for casting your own candles

With the Efco pyramid candle mould (art. no. 3535505), you can cast your own pyramid-shaped candles. The plastic mould measures 105 × 67 × 67 mm. The candles can be used as decoration, as gifts or for your own use.

The mould is temperature-resistant up to max. 65 °C. This is the most important limit when working: do not pour in the wax any hotter, or the mould may warp. It is best to check the temperature with a thermometer.

Casting a pyramid candle

Thread the wick through and hold it taut in the centre, for example on a stick laid across the opening. Melt the wax and let it cool to no more than 65 °C before pouring it in. As the wax cools, it contracts in the middle. After it has first set, top up with a little more wax so that the candle has a level base. Only release the candle from the mould once the wax has cooled right through.
