Meyco Plaster Bandage 7.5 cm × 5 m – Modelling Bandage for Masks, Busts and Casts

The Meyco modelling bandage (plaster bandage) is a white roll, 5 m long and 7.5 cm wide, for modelling masks, busts, casts and other craft projects. You cut the bandage into strips, moisten them and lay them over a base or form. It dries there and keeps its shape.

At 5 m long, you can cut strips to whatever size your project needs. The 7.5 cm width suits larger surfaces such as masks or busts and can be cut into narrower strips if required.

Working with the plaster bandage

Cover your work surface with plastic sheeting and cut the bandage into strips beforehand. Dip each strip briefly in water, wipe off the excess water and lay it on the base. Smooth each layer with your fingers so that the plaster fills the gaps and the surface is even. Work in several overlapping layers if the piece is to be sturdy. You should not pour leftover water from the dipping bowl down the drain, as plaster can set there and block it.
