URSUS black A3 sugar paper pad, 130 gsm, 10 sheets

URSUS black A3 sugar paper pad – 10 sheets for crafting

This URSUS pad contains 10 sheets of black sugar paper in DIN A3 format (29.7 × 42 cm). At 130 g/m², the paper is sturdier than ordinary printer paper and cuts, tears, folds and sticks well. The sheets are glued together along one side to form the pad, so they stay flat and together until you use them.

The large A3 format suits window pictures, silhouettes, posters and backgrounds from which you cut smaller motifs. Black paper makes light-coloured papers, colours and glitter stand out particularly well.

Working with black sugar paper

Pencil lines are barely visible on dark paper. Draw templates with a white or light-coloured pen on the back and cut them out as a mirror image. A thin layer of adhesive, such as a glue stick or craft glue, is enough for sticking. Too much wet glue can make the paper wavy. For long straight edges, hold a ruler against the paper and carefully separate the sheet from the pad with a craft knife on a cutting mat.
