Staedtler Noris ergosoft Jumbo 2B Pencil – Extra-Thick Triangular

Staedtler Noris ergosoft Jumbo 2B – extra-thick triangular pencil for learning to write

The Staedtler Noris ergosoft Jumbo 2B (art. no. 153) is an extra-thick triangular pencil for learning to write and for first pre-writing patterns and drawing exercises. The non-slip soft surface sits comfortably in the hand. The 2B grade is soft and writes with little pressure, which also helps beginners with weak hand strength.

The lead has a diameter of 3 mm. It is bonded firmly to the wood and, thanks to a special formula, is break-resistant, so it does not snap off easily if the pencil is dropped. The pencil is painted yellow and black and has a red dipped end. You can write your name on the name panel. It is supplied pre-sharpened and has no eraser.

Who is the jumbo pencil for?

The thick triangular barrel is designed for hands that are only just practising writing and drawing. The soft 2B lead leaves a clear line even with light pressure. Because of the thick barrel and the 3 mm lead, you need a sharpener for jumbo pencils to resharpen it; a standard pencil sharpener usually does not fit. The pencil has no eraser, so it is best to get an eraser as well.
