At 0.6 mm the cord is fine. It suits delicate bracelets and necklaces, knotted jewellery and pendants where the cord should not look bulky. For beads you need a large enough hole, so test it on one bead beforehand.

Working with the waxed cord

The wax coating gives the cord a smooth surface that is easy to grip and pull tight. This helps with knots, for example adjustable sliding knots for bracelets, and when braiding several strands. Measure the length for bracelets and necklaces generously, as knots use up cord. With a 10 m spool you can plan several small projects.
