Daler-Rowney fine-grain sketch paper in A3 format comes as a pad of 30 sheets for sketching and drawing, for example with a pencil. The paper weighs 120 gsm and has a natural white tone. It looks softer than pure white and works well with pencil drawings.

At 420 × 297 mm, the pad offers plenty of room for studies, designs and larger sketches. It is glued on one side and held together as a stack. The paper is also available in A4 in the same series.

What the paper is suited to

At 120 gsm, the paper is heavier than ordinary copier paper and suits dry techniques such as pencil. The fine-grain surface takes line and hatching well. For techniques that use a lot of water, paper of this weight is rather thin, as it can cockle.
