The Blauer Steinbach drawing pad is a drawing and painting pad with 20 cream-white sheets of 200 g/m² for school, art lessons and hobby use. The paper is sturdier than standard drawing paper and takes pencil, charcoal and pastel as well as light watercolour work.

The sheets are glued along the head edge. You can detach them cleanly from the pad without tearing or fraying. Choose your size from the options.

Which techniques suit the paper?

At 200 g/m², the paper is well suited to dry techniques such as pencil, charcoal and pastel. That makes it practical for sketches, studies and school assignments. It also copes with watercolour if you apply it lightly and with little water. With very wet application, paper of this weight is more likely to cockle than a heavy watercolour paper. For that, it is better to choose a watercolour pad with a higher weight.

Detaching sheets cleanly

Let a drawing dry completely before you remove the sheet. Then pull it slowly away from the glued top edge. This keeps the edge straight and lets you file or present your work without any problems.
