Efco craft felt 3 mm – firm felt sheets for crafting and decorating

Efco felt sheets are 3.0 mm thick and measure 30 × 45 cm. You can use them as a base for craft projects such as scrapbooking, greetings cards and school cones, for home decor such as placemats, coasters or wall decoration, and for model making, dolls' houses, costumes and accessories. The sheets are available in 31 colours, from strong shades to pastels. Choose your colour from the options.

The felt holds its shape and is easy to cut. At 3 mm it is much thicker than thin craft felt, so it also works well as a protective or padding layer.

Working with the felt sheets

Draw the shape on the back with a pen or template and cut it out with sharp scissors. For straight edges and even strips, use a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat. At 3 mm thickness, it is better to cut in several light strokes than in one heavy cut, so the edge stays clean. Small details and tight curves are easiest with pointed scissors.

Choosing the thickness

The 3 mm thickness sits between its siblings: Efco felt sheets are available thinner at 2.0 mm in the same 30 × 45 cm size, and thicker at 4.0 mm in the larger 70 × 45 cm size. For coasters, placemats and parts that need to keep their shape, 3 mm is a good choice. Thinner felt is easier to fold and sew.
