Rayher wooden letters 4 cm – flat letters for names and sayings

Rayher's 4 cm wooden letters are flat wooden letters you can use to make names, words or initials for decorations and gifts. You can put them together into name plates, door signs or small lettering. Choose your letter from the options.

According to Rayher, the letters take Chalky Finish paints well. This lets you adapt the colour and look to your project, for example a gift or the decor of a child's room.

Creating lettering

The letters are thin and do not stand up on their own. Glue them onto a base such as a wooden board or a sign. Lay the lettering out dry first and check the spacing and order before you glue. It is best to paint the letters in thin layers before sticking them down, as this keeps the base clean and lets you reach the edges easily.

Choosing your letters

For a word you need each letter individually, so for repeated letters such as in the name "Anna" you need several of the same one. At 4 cm high, the letters suit small to medium-sized signs and decorations.
