PappArt letters and numbers LARGE – free-standing cardboard to decorate
The PappArt letters and numbers from Glorex are free-standing cardboard blanks you can use to make lettering and decorations for the home, parties or shop windows. They are 175 mm tall and 55 mm deep, hollow inside and kept upright by a weight in the base. You can paint them, cover them, or decorate them with decoupage and Décopatch.
With several letters you can spell words such as HOME, WELCOME or LOVE, or write names. Choose your letter or number from the options. The cardboard is FSC-certified.
Decorating the letters
The natural brown cardboard absorbs paint. For light shades you can prime with white first, and the acrylic paint will then cover more evenly. Let each layer dry before applying the next so the cardboard does not soften. Paper, fabric or napkins are all suitable for covering the letters. Let the glue and varnish dry completely before standing the letters up.
Which size to choose
Glorex makes the range in two sizes: 10 × 3.5 cm and 17.5 × 5.5 cm. This listing is for the large version, 175 mm tall. As lettering on shelves, windowsills or tables, it is easy to see.
