Efco beeswax sheets – rolling and decorating candles

Efco beeswax sheets are made from 100 % pure beeswax and are intended for rolling and decorating candles. The set contains two beeswax sheets and waxed wicks, so you can get started without any other materials. The sheets come in two sizes; choose the size you need from the options.

As the wick is already waxed, you do not need to prepare it yourself. You can roll the sheets into simple pillar candles, or cut out shapes and press them onto a candle as decoration.

How to roll a candle

The width of the sheet determines the height of the candle, and the length determines its diameter. Cold wax sheets break easily. Warm them briefly in your hands or carefully with a hairdryer until they are pliable.

• Lay the wick along the edge of the sheet and press the sheet lightly onto the wick.
• Roll up the sheet firmly and evenly so that no gaps form.
• Press the end of the candle down lightly; the edge seals with the warmth of your hands.
• Trim the wick at the top to about 1 cm.

Decorating candles

For decorations, cut strips, stars or other shapes from a sheet. Using a ruler and a sharp knife on a cutting mat gives clean edges. Press the pieces gently onto a finished candle; they stick thanks to the warmth of your fingers.
