Städter Heart Cookie Cutter – 4 cm in Rustproof Stainless Steel

With the Städter heart cookie cutter (art. no. 051171) you cut hearts from dough, fondant or marzipan. It is also suitable for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO. At 4 cm, it makes small hearts for biscuits, cake decorations or pendants.

The cutter is made of rustproof stainless steel with a shiny finish. According to Städter, it is food-safe and dishwasher safe, so cleaning is straightforward.

Tips for clean hearts

Roll out the dough evenly and place the cutter on it vertically. Press straight down without twisting, so the edges stay clean. If the dough sticks, dip the cutter briefly in flour from time to time; do the same with salt dough, and use icing sugar or cornflour with fondant. With shortcrust pastry, it helps to chill the dough beforehand. If you use the cutter with FIMO or modelling clay, do not use it for food afterwards.
