Städter Dog Paw Embossing Cookie Cutter – Cut and Emboss in One Step

With the Städter dog paw embossing cookie cutter, you cut paws out of dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter embosses the whole paw, toe pads and main pad included, so the design is clearly recognisable without any extra work. It measures 7.5 cm and is made of stainless steel.

According to Städter, the cutter is rustproof, food-safe and dishwasher safe. You can also use it for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO.

Getting a good impression

Press the cutter evenly and straight down into the rolled-out dough until the embossing is visible, then release the paw carefully. To stop dough sticking to the cutter, dust the edge with a little flour or icing sugar. Chilled, firm dough keeps its outline better when baking than soft dough. With fondant and marzipan, cut on a smooth surface and release the shape with your fingertip.

Also for crafting and modelling

You can cut paws out of modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO and get the same embossing. This makes pendants, gift decorations or designs for animal lovers, for example.
