Embossed Fir Tree Cookie Cutter 6.5 cm – Stainless Steel Cutter with Pre-Embossing

With the Städter embossed fir tree cookie cutter, you can cut out Christmas biscuits from dough, fondant or marzipan. The pre-embossing adds extra texture to the cut-out shape. At 6.5 cm, the fir tree fits on biscuit plates, cakes and gift tags.

The cutter is made of stainless steel. According to Städter, the embossed cutters in this range are made of rustproof stainless steel, dishwasher safe and food-safe. As well as baking dough, you can use them for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Making the embossed fir tree

Roll the dough out evenly and chill it briefly before cutting, so the outline and embossing stay crisp. Do not roll it out too thinly, so that the embossing shows. Dip the cutter in flour now and then, or in cornflour or icing sugar for fondant, so nothing sticks. Press the cutter straight down and carefully release the shape from the cutter. Take care with the cutting edge.

For crafting and modelling

With modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, you can cut out fir trees for pendants or decorations. Once you have used a cutter with Fimo or modelling clay, do not use it for food again.
