Efco copper blanks are copper pendant blanks that you enamel with glass powder to make your own jewellery. You apply the powder to the metal and heat it until it melts. This gives a smooth, glossy surface, and you decide the colour and design yourself. Each piece is therefore one of a kind.

How to enamel the copper pendant

Clean the blank thoroughly before applying the powder and avoid touching the surface with your fingers afterwards, as grease on the copper stops the powder from adhering. Sprinkle the glass powder on thinly and evenly, ideally through a fine sieve. Thick heaps melt unevenly. Then place the blank on a heat-resistant surface and fire it following the instructions for your powder or kiln. Let it cool completely before you touch it.
