Brass-plated steel D-rings – hardware for bags, belts and collars
These half-round D-rings, made of welded, brass-plated steel in a gold colour, are used as hardware for handbags, belts, collars and similar leatherwork. Choose your size from the options.
The straight side of the ring lies flat against the strap or webbing. You can attach carabiners, shoulder straps or chains to the round side. The brass plating gives the steel a gold-coloured finish that matches other gold-coloured hardware.
How to attach a D-ring
Slide the end of the strap through the ring, fold it over the straight side and secure it with rivets or stitching. Choose a ring to match the width of your strap so that it does not twist and the straight side sits neatly. When sewing or riveting, the folded section should sit firmly and flat.
