DEKA LACK high-gloss acrylic paint 25 ml – for glossy, waterproof finishes
DEKA LACK high-gloss paint is a water-based acrylic paint. You can paint, print or stencil with it on paper, wood, ceramic, glass, leather, stone, metal and polystyrene. The paint is fully opaque, lightfast and gloss-stable. Once dry it is waterproof and flexible, so it is less likely to crack if the surface moves slightly.
The 25 ml size suits small areas, details and trying things out. Choose your colour from the options. The shades can be mixed with one another, so you can create your own tones.
Working with the high-gloss paint
The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Stir the paint well before use and apply it in thin layers. Let each layer dry before applying the next: brush marks will be less visible and the gloss stays even. To thin the paint, add no more than 5 % water; more water reduces its covering power. Wash brushes and tools out with water while the paint is still wet.
Heat-setting and choosing a size
For particularly durable results, you can heat-set the dried paint at up to 170 °C. This only works on heat-resistant surfaces such as glass or ceramic. Do not do this on polystyrene, paper or leather. For larger areas, the same paint is also available in 50 ml and 250 ml.
