The Prym trouser and skirt hook and bar (art. no. 265227) is a flat sew-on fastening for trousers and skirts with a waistband. The card contains 2 hooks and 2 bars in silver, and the gap width is 9 mm. The fastening is flat with rounded edges, so it adds hardly any bulk under the fabric. Once sewn on, it is practically invisible from the outside.

How to sew on the hook

The pre-made sewing holes make fixing easy: the hook has three holes, the bar two. Sew the hook to the end of the waistband and the bar opposite, where the hook is to catch. Stitch several times through each hole with doubled thread and fasten off the threads securely so that the fastening holds when the waistband is under strain. The same style is available with a 12 mm gap width for wider waistband fastenings.
