Efco silver-coloured split rings – connecting rings for your own jewellery

Efco split rings in silver colour join chain parts, pendants and clasps when you make necklaces, bracelets and other jewellery. The pack contains 10 rings. The split rings come in 3 sizes, which you choose from the options.

A split ring is double-coiled like a small key ring. Unlike a simple jump ring, it does not open by itself, so a pendant stays on more securely. Silver-coloured rings go with beads, chain links and clasps in a silver tone. For a gold look, the same split rings are also available in gold colour.

Using split rings

Gently prise the two coils apart at the join, ideally with split ring pliers. Thread on the eyelet of the pendant or the end of the chain and turn it around the coil until it sits on the ring and the ring is closed again. Do not bend the ring open far, or it will lose its shape. Choose the size to match the eyelet: it must pass loosely through the ring, without the ring looking much larger than the piece of jewellery.
