Artemio Metallic Scoubidou Cords – 30 Braiding Cords for Keyrings

The Artemio Scoubidou cords in metallic are 30 soft, flexible braiding cords for making keyrings and other braided crafts. Each cord is approx. 80 cm long. The metallic finish gives the braided pieces a glossy effect.

The pack contains 30 cords, so you can braid several keyrings or try out the cords in different patterns. The range is also available in neon.

Braiding a keyring

For a classic keyring, thread two cords through a key ring and fold them together at the centre. This gives you four strands, which you can braid in a square or spiral pattern, for example. Braiding uses up length: the finished keyring is much shorter than 80 cm, so allow plenty of length for the size you want. Pull the strands tight evenly at every step so that the pattern stays regular. Finally, trim any protruding ends with scissors.
