EFCO gold-colour split rings – connecting rings for your own jewellery

The gold-colour split rings from EFCO are connecting rings for jewellery making, for example for necklaces and bracelets. You get 10 rings in a pack, enough to connect pendants, chain links or clasps.

The split rings come in 3 sizes. Choose the size you need from the options. Pick it to suit the loops on your pendants and chain parts, as the ring has to fit through the loop.

Working with split rings

A split ring is made from double-coiled wire, similar to a small key ring. This holds pendants and chain parts more securely than a simple open ring. Prise the coil apart at one point with split ring pliers or a fine tool, hook in the loop of the pendant and turn the ring along the coil until the loop sits on the ring. Do not bend the ring apart, so that it stays round and closes neatly again.
