Prym D-Rings 40 mm – for Bags, Straps and Belts

Prym half-round rings (art. no. 555240) are silver-coloured D-rings for bag fastenings and adjustable shoulder straps. You can also use them on belts, clothing, rucksacks and key fobs, or for crafts. The pack contains 2 rings in size 40 mm.

The rings are made of rust-protected steel and polished smooth, so ribbons and webbing run through easily. The join in the middle of the straight edge is burr-free and fits precisely. Nothing can get trapped there.

Using the D-rings

For an adjustable shoulder strap, pass the webbing around the straight edge of the ring and sew the end down neatly. The rounded side then serves as an attachment point, for example for a carabiner. For bag fastenings and belts, also pass the strap around the straight side. Test beforehand that your webbing runs smoothly through the ring. The rings are not rated for load-bearing safety uses such as climbing harnesses.
