Glorex Dekowatte beige – toy stuffing for soft toys and dark fabrics

Glorex Dekowatte in beige is a polyester fibrefill for stuffing dolls, teddy bears, soft toys and small cushions. The beige colour is matched to darker materials, so the filling does not show through the fabric as a pale patch.

The 150 g is enough for smaller projects. According to Glorex, the stuffing in this range is dust-free, odour-free and hygienic, and has a particular resilience. That matters because soft toys and cushions keep their shape.

Stuffing evenly

Pull the stuffing apart into small portions and fill the narrow parts first, such as arms, legs and ears. Push the stuffing right into the corners with a stuffing stick before you fill the body. This leaves no gaps and the shape stays even. Large lumps often show through the fabric as bumps, especially with thin materials. Do not overfill the parts, so the seams do not split. Close the turning gap by hand at the end with ladder stitch.

Beige or white, 150 g or more?

Choose beige for dark and mid-tone fabrics where white stuffing might show through. For light fabrics, Glorex Dekowatte is also available in white. The 150 g is intended for small soft toys and cushions. For larger projects, beige Dekowatte is also available in 300 g and 1 kg.
