EFCO round googly eyes – plastic eyes for figures, animals and decorations
The round EFCO googly eyes are plastic eyes to glue on for craft figures, animals, dolls and decorations. The back is flat, so the eyes sit well on suitable surfaces. The domed front gives figures a lively, three-dimensional expression.
The eyes come in diameters from 4 mm to 35 mm. Choose the size from the options. The quantity depends on the size: sizes 4 to 18 mm come in packs of 10, sizes 20 to 28 mm in packs of 6, and the 35 mm size in a pack of 2.
Attaching the eyes
The googly eyes are not self-adhesive; you glue them on via the flat back. Apply the glue sparingly to the back and press the eye on briefly until it holds. For small sizes a thin dab of glue is enough, otherwise glue oozes out at the edge and smears the front. On delicate surfaces, test the glue first on an inconspicuous spot.
Which size to choose
Small diameters suit miniatures and small figures. Larger eyes show to better effect on big craft projects and decorations. As a rule of thumb, eyes that are large in proportion to the head look cuter, small ones more natural. Before gluing, place the eyes on the figure to try them out.
