Nickel-Plated Steel O-Ring – Round Ring for Bags, Belts and Collars
The O-ring is a welded round ring made of nickel-plated steel in a silver colour. You can use it as a connecting and holding element in handmade handbags, belts and collars, for example as a ring to which straps, webbing or carabiners are attached.
Because the ring is welded, it has no opening that could bend open. Thread the strap or webbing through the ring and sew, rivet or clamp it in place behind it.
Choosing the right size
Important: the sizes given refer to the inner diameter, not the outer diameter. The ring is therefore correspondingly larger on the outside. Measure the width of your webbing, strap or leather strip beforehand and choose an inner diameter through which the material, including the fold and seam, still passes comfortably.
