Efco yellow glass animal eyes – to sew onto amigurumi and teddy bears

The Efco animal eyes with loop are made of glass with a metal wire loop and come in yellow. You sew them onto amigurumi, homemade teddy bears, soft toys and dolls. Glass reflects the light, which gives your animal a lively look.

The pack size depends on the diameter: sizes 6 to 12 mm contain 4 pieces, 14 mm contains 2 pieces. That is handy, as animals usually have two eyes and with the smaller sizes you can plan in a second pair. The eyes are washable. Choose the diameter from the options.

Positioning the eyes

An animal's expression depends a great deal on the spacing of the eyes. Pin the eyes in place first and check their position before you sew. Set wide apart, they give the animal a childlike, friendly look; set closer together, it looks more alert and attentive. To attach them, pass the thread through the loop several times and fasten off securely.

Which size to choose

Choose the diameter to suit the size of your animal. Small eyes suit mini amigurumi and small bears, while larger eyes give more expression to larger figures. In this range, yellow is available alongside blue, brown and black.
