Strawberry Punnet Basket with Handle, Chipwood, 17 × 9 cm

Chipwood strawberry basket with handle to decorate and customise

The strawberry basket with handle is a small chipwood basket that you can paint, decorate or simply leave natural as a decoration. It measures 17 × 9 × 11 cm (L × W × H), so it fits well on a table or windowsill, or can serve as small gift packaging.

The handle is used for carrying and hanging. Thanks to its compact size, the basket is suitable for spring, summer and gift decorations, for example filled with moss, flowers or small gifts.

Decorating the basket

Chipwood is thin and absorbs moisture. Apply acrylic paint with only a little water so that the wood does not warp. Lightly sanding it first smooths any rough areas. For decoupage or paper motifs, a thin layer of glue is enough; smooth it from the centre outwards.
