Efco animal eyes are brown glass eyes with a metal wire loop, for amigurumi, teddy bears and dolls. Glass reflects the light, so the eyes look shiny and give the figure a lively expression. You sew the loop at the back to the fabric or crochet work with thread.

Choose the size from the options. Diameters from 6 to 12 mm come as 4 eyes, so two pairs. From 14 mm, 2 eyes are included, so one pair. Small eyes suit amigurumi and small bears, while larger ones give bigger teddies and dolls more character.

Attaching the eyes

Attach the eyes before stuffing, as you will no longer be able to reach the back afterwards. First pin them in place and check the spacing and height. A face often looks cuter when the eyes sit a little lower and further apart. Then pass a strong thread through the loop several times and fasten it securely in the fabric. Pull the thread tight so that the eye does not wobble.
