EFCO safety eyes – plastic eyes for teddy bears, dolls and amigurumi
EFCO plastic safety eyes give teddy bears, dolls and sewn or crocheted figures a friendly expression. Each pack contains 2 brown eyes. Choose the size from the options.
The size depends on your figure: small amigurumi need smaller eyes, while a large teddy can take bigger ones. The lower and further apart the eyes are set, the more childlike the face looks.
Fitting the eyes
Place the eyes on the face before stuffing and mark their position with pins. Both eyes should sit at the same height and the same distance from the nose; a photo of the face often shows differences better than looking at it directly. Once the face looks right, fix the eyes in place and stuff the figure. Once the figure is stuffed, the eyes can no longer be secured from the inside, so they always come first.
