T-pins 27 mm in stainless steel – for macramé, sewing and blocking

The Beadsmith T-pins are pins with a T-shaped head, which you can use to fix cords on a macramé board, hold sewing patterns on fabric or pin knitted and crocheted pieces into shape. The T-head sits comfortably under your fingers, so the pin is easy to push in and pull out. The pack contains 75 pins in a plastic box; the pins are 27 mm (1 inch) long and made of stainless steel.

Macramé and blocking

In macramé, you pin the cords down with the T-pins on a soft surface so that knots and spacing stay even and nothing slips. Finished knitted or crocheted pieces can also be stretched out on foam or cork after washing and pinned into shape along the edge until dry. Place the pins close together so that the edge does not form waves between the pins.

Sewing

When sewing, the T-pins hold layers of fabric and sewing patterns together. The larger head is easy to grip even on thicker fabrics such as denim or canvas. With leather, bear in mind that every pin leaves a visible hole. Only pin within the seam allowance.
