Meyco wooden olive beads 20 × 30 mm, dark brown, macramé

Meyco wooden olive beads 20 × 30 mm in dark brown – 5 pieces with a 6 mm hole for macramé

Meyco wooden olives are oval wooden beads in dark brown for macramé projects such as wall hangings, plant hangers or bags. They measure 20 × 30 mm, and the pack contains 5 pieces. The hole has a diameter of 6 mm, so thicker yarns, cords and strings fit through as well.

The oval shape adds a calm accent between rows of knots. The beads can also be used for weaving, jewellery and decorations.

Using the wooden olives

Before knotting, check that your yarn, doubled or tripled, still slides smoothly through the 6 mm hole. Thread on the olive and secure it with a knot underneath that is larger than the hole, so that it does not slip. With thin yarns you can thread several strands through together and place the bead in the middle of a wall hanging or at the end of fringes.

Choosing from the range

The wooden olives are also available in the series in natural and in other sizes. The hole width can differ depending on the size, so when buying, check for the 6 mm hole diameter if you want to use thicker cord.
