Choosing a cord and using the beads in macramé

Choose a cord that passes comfortably through the 9 mm hole. With thick macramé yarn or a cord that is passed through several times, the large hole is an advantage. To keep the olive in place, tie a knot beneath it that is larger than the hole. With thinner cords, double the cord over or tie a thicker knot.
