Meyco Wooden Olive Beads 14 × 21 mm Dark Brown for Macramé

Meyco Wooden Olive Beads 14 × 21 mm Dark Brown – Large-Hole Wooden Beads for Macramé

Meyco wooden olives are oval wooden beads in dark brown for macramé projects. At 14 × 21 mm, they add clear accents to cords, wall hangings or plant hangers. The hole has a diameter of 6.0 mm, which is larger than on many other beads. This makes it easier to thread thick macramé cords and yarns. One pack contains 12 pieces.

Using the wooden olives

The cord must be thinner than 6 mm to fit through the hole. If it is to pass through twice, you will need a correspondingly thinner cord. Slide the olive onto the cord and tie a knot behind it. The knot must be larger than the hole, otherwise the bead will slip through. For an even look, plan the spacing between the beads beforehand, for example along a cord laid out flat. The oval shape works particularly well as a finish at the ends of fringes or as an accent in the middle of a wall hanging.
