The Efco coloured wooden beads UNI, Ø 12 mm, are round, plain-coloured wooden beads for stringing, for example on small necklaces, bracelets or key rings. The pack contains approx. 30 pieces. Choose your colour from the options.

At 12 mm in diameter the beads are clearly visible and easy to handle. Threaded side by side, 30 beads make a length of around 36 cm. That is enough as a basis for a choker-length necklace or a bracelet; for longer necklaces, plan on several packs.

Stringing the beads

The hole is 2.5 mm, so your cord or ribbon needs to be thinner to pull through easily. To stop the knot slipping through the bead, it must be larger than the hole. With thinner thread, tie a double knot or add a small stopper bead first. Elastic thread suits bracelets, while for necklaces and pendants you can thread the beads onto cord or ribbon.

Which size to choose

The range includes wooden beads in several sizes, such as Ø 4, 6, 8, 10 and 14 mm. Ø 12 mm is at the larger end: you get a bold, chunky look, but need fewer beads for the same length than with the smaller sizes. For fine patterns or delicate bracelets, choose the smaller diameters.
