Efco wooden beads Ø 4.0 mm – small beads for stringing

Efco coloured wooden beads, plain (UNI), are round, single-colour beads, Ø 4.0 mm, for stringing, for example on small necklaces and bracelets. The bag contains approx. 150 pieces. Choose your colour from the options.

The hole is Ø 1.5 mm. That is narrow enough for fine beads, yet still easy to work with thin thread. Because of their small size, the beads look dainty and work well as spacer beads or in delicate designs.

Stringing the beads

Choose a thread that is clearly thinner than 1.5 mm, so that it can pass through a bead several times, for instance with knots or doubled threads. A stiffened thread end makes stringing easier, for example with a drop of glue, or, with nylon cord, an end cut at an angle.

Which size to choose

Ø 4.0 mm is the smallest size in the series. For chunkier necklaces or designs with more impact, the beads are also available in Ø 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm. If you combine several sizes, the 4 mm beads add nice accents between the larger beads.
