Faber-Castell Grip 2001 – triangular pencil with grip zone
The Faber-Castell Grip 2001 is a pencil with an ergonomic triangular shape for writing, sketching and drawing at school, in the office and as a hobby. The grip zone gives your fingers a secure hold and stops them slipping while you write. This keeps your hand relaxed even during longer writing sessions.
The lead is firmly bonded to the wooden casing by the special SV bonding, which makes it particularly break-resistant. That is handy if the pencil falls into a school bag or you sharpen it often. The barrel is silver and finished with water-based lacquer. Choose your hardness grade from the options.
Which hardness grade suits you?
The hardness grade determines how light or dark and how soft the line will be. The higher the number before the B, the softer and darker the lead. A softer lead suits expressive sketching and drawing, while medium grades suit precise writing. Soft leads wear down faster and smudge more easily, so use light pressure when writing.
