Rayher Pearlescent Seed Beads Ø 2.6 mm – small beads for jewellery and beaded animals

Rayher pearlescent seed beads with a diameter of 2.6 mm are small beads for stringing jewellery, friendship bracelets and beaded animals. One tin contains 17 g. Choose your colour or colour mix from the options.

The beads have a pearlescent finish. Wash finished pieces by hand at 30 °C.

Working with seed beads

Seed beads are small, even beads that you string onto thread, cord or wire. For bracelets and necklaces, use a thin, tear-resistant thread or nylon cord; for beaded animals, beading wire is better as it holds its shape. A fine beading needle makes threading quicker. Test first with a sample to check that your thread passes easily through the bead hole, and tip the beads into a shallow dish while you work so they don't roll away.

Which size to choose

At Ø 2.6 mm, these seed beads sit between the finer 2 mm beads and the larger 3 mm beads. The Rayher range also includes seed beads with a matt finish, transparent or in matt metallic. The smaller bead gives finer patterns, while the larger one is easier to pick up and thread.
