Rayher Seed Beads Ø 2 mm Opaque – fine glass beads for threading and embroidery

Rayher seed beads are small, opaque glass beads with a diameter of 2 mm. You can thread them for bead animals, friendship bracelets and jewellery, or use them to decorate and embroider textiles. Opaque means the beads are not see-through, so the colour looks solid and even. Choose your colour from the options.

The beads come in a round plastic tub containing 17 g. Jewellery wire and nylon thread are not included.

What the 2 mm seed beads are used for

At 2 mm in diameter, the beads are much finer than the 2.6 mm seed beads in the same Rayher range. You can use them for delicate pieces of jewellery, small bead animals and designs with lots of beads where detail matters. For larger areas, or if you want to make faster progress, the bigger beads are more practical.

Tips for use

Choose a thread or wire thin enough to pass through a bead several times, if your design calls for it. When sewing onto fabric, use a fine beading needle so that it fits through the small hole.
